Named for the real estate adage about the relationship between a property's value and its location, this piece is inspired by aspects of places the composer has lived within the last decade, portrayed in three short movements: the chromatic and punctuated Carriage House Fanfare; the sustained and gentle Kettle Pond; and the mariachi-inspired La Milpa.
Location, Location, Location falls within a comfortable range for both instruments and a low to medium level of difficulty, with a few tricky rhythmic passages. The Trombone 2 part may be played either on a bass trombone or, with some adjustments to position markings, on a tenor trombone with F attachment.
