Location, Location, Location for horn and trombone

$20.00

Location, Location, Location for horn and trombone was premiered at the International Trombone Festival 2023 by Wendy Koller and Michelle Flowers. Named for the real estate adage about the relationship between a property's value and its location, this piece is inspired by aspects of places the composer has lived within the last decade, portrayed in three short movements: the chromatic and punctuated Carriage House Fanfare; the sustained and gentle Kettle Pond; and the mariachi-inspired La Milpa.

Location, Location, Location was originally composed for two trombones and was transposed and arranged for Horn in F and Trombone. It falls within a comfortable range for both instruments and a low to medium level of difficulty, with a few tricky rhythmic passages.

Horn range: F3 to D5 (sounding), C4 to A5 (written)

Trombone range: A2 to Eb4

 Duration: ca. 7'30"

Order includes: Score in C, transposed score, horn part, and trombone part
